I swapped the wheels from my 2024 ZX6R to my 2009 ZX6R because I liked the colors better and wanted the better, broken in tires on the new bike. The red loctite is a pain in the fucking ass. I've heard you're supposed to use a torch to heat the bolts up super hot before you remove them. This loosens the loctite. Didn't do that on the rear. Haven't attempted the front yet, but I am looking for videos confirming this approach. Mainly I would suggest DO NOT reinstall with red loctite. Just use blue loctite. Did you know the rear sprocket doesn't use any loctite at all? Attaches to the same damn wheel. Red loctite is terrible. I stripped two bolts on the rear rotor and had to re-tap the holes and order new bolts. The new bolts arrived with factory installed red loctite... smh.

If you wanted to do it the first method by threading the wire along the tank, where would you run the cable? Would it require a removal of the tank or tank covers to run it?

How you took out the motor mounting bolts off that has like a type of lock ale keys please help me

Where did you get your engine parts. I want to rebuild my 2003 Zx6r 636. But OEM Kawasaki parts are so expensive

Sadly this is a growing issue with greenlaning. Ramblers of all ages, have this idea in their heads, the the country side should only be for walking. They have this idea in there head, that we cause allot of damage. I am both a rider on byways, and a walker, in my experience, footpaths tend to be in far worse condition than byways. The styles are often very boggy, and this damage can only be caused on foot. Aside from the noise, bikes have very little impact on the country side. If i want a peaceful walk, it's not a challenge given 99.6% of the rights of way network does not allow motorcycle access.

I've put one on my 1200 Bandit after seeing "Karmekaze Moto" put one on his. Mine was 2nd hand and had previously been on a ZX10. It really suits the deep bellow from the famous 1157cc engine. I use for commuting at times and definitely not build for it. The video is exact on point around the issues I experienced when you ride slow. It's built to conform your body into race structure. I love my one it's still imacculate. Might sell if anybody interested..❤

Thanks for the in place rear brake pad replacement! I replaced the tires on my svartpilen 401 and one of the pads fell out while I was putting the rear back in, this is going to help me loads for doing it in place rather than having to take apart the whole damn rear again.

My dampening rod... is actually stuck inside my fork cap...
